ZEIN FIBER:

Zein fiber does not burn easily.

Zein fibers were commercially sold as Vicara from 1948 to 1957

It was used in suits, sweaters, blankets and pile fabrics.

Z-TWIST:

Z-twist means a direction of the twist in yarns, from top right to bottom left, resembling the long stroke of the letter Z.
